Tanya has been photographing pets since 2004.  With a BFA in Photographic Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology, she has a highly technical and creative photographic background.  RIT is internationally known as one of the leading photography education programs in the world.

She was named as one of Philly’s top pet photographers by Philly A-List. Her work has been featured in numerous local and national publications including Humane Pennsylvania, Brandywine Valley SPCA, Pet Valu and Savage Universal. She has been honored numerous times to be a guest judge for the Delaware Photographic Society.

She has been shooting exclusively digital since 2006 and has a Nikon gear box, complete studio strobe system, and Adobe editing suite.  Her finished pieces are carefully handcrafted and produced by one of the top rated labs in the country.  

She is a proud to be the only photographer in Pennsylvania who is a member of all three organizations: American Society of Media Photographers, Nikon Professional Services, and HeARTs Speak global artist group.

Besides loving photography, Tanya describes herself as an animal adoption advocate with a deep love for conservation and horticulture.  In her free time she volunteers for several local animal rescues and the Chester County Penn State Extension Master Gardener program.  She calls Chester County home with her husband and four cats.
