It should come as no surprise that I, as an animal lover, often surround myself with other animal lovers for friends. My good friend, Laurie, recently fostered a mama cat and her litter of six kittens. Caring for young kittens is nothing less than a herculean task. Young kittens make a colossal mess while learning how to eat, play, and use the litter pan. Things are slightly easier with a mama cat around, but trust me when I say that Laurie has had her work cut out for her! Now Laurie's kittens are 8 weeks old, full of spunk, (have greatly refined their litter pan skills - phew!), and are are ready to go to new homes where they'll be loved and cherished forever.
